WHAT IF.....TEACHER JEAN WERE COMING???

Chances for Children and Teacher Jean are working HARD to try to get him to the reunion in September....there is a CHANCE he can make it.

I am not sure when, or if, this possibility would happen again for our kids. I know how much they LOVE Teacher Jean!

So...if you are on the fence....please put your other leg over, this is going to be a GREAT event!!!

Reunion Schedule

Reason #8 - The Duncans are Attending!!!

Lucien and Gina will be on hand at the reunion to see how the children are doing with their forever families. What a great gift to them to see how well the kids are doing in their new homes, and a great way for us to say thank you for their kindness in helping our children find a new life.

Reason #7 - Our Children NEED to Keep This Connection

Our children all spent close to 2 or more years together in their home in Haiti. Another adoptive mother told me that her children are starting to forget names of the other kids in just one year. This is a HUGE reason....if you are on the fence, and are able to attend please consider coming.

Reason #6 - Meeting the Chances For Children Team in Person

I am not sure about the rest of you....but on ALL of the trips Mike and I took to the Creche, we have only met Craig in person. I am excited to finally meet up with Kathi and Vivian!!!

Reason #5...Maybe We Could Get Craig to Sign Our Copies of His Book!

Reason 4 - You Might Miss the Awesome Video

Melissa H (adoptive mom to Luc and Lyvi) will be putting together a slide show journey of our children's lives from the creche to home. I am POSITIVE you will not want to miss this.

Even if you are NOT attending, please send photos to Melissa of your children upon referral, while at the creche, and at home with their forever family as this will most likely be a BIG highlight for the kids at the reunion!!!

This is a huge project so please send photos as soon as you can!!

Reason 3 - Adult Time on Saturday!!!

So the kid will be busy doing crafts on Saturday (and supervised by competent people)....pick your adult time quiet spot....

Reason #2 to Go to the Reunion - Madame Coindy

We all love her when she was taking care of "her" kids! Rumor has it she will be on hand at our reunion...

I will always remember when I first met Marie Lissa, she told me that Darline was not my daughter until she told me she was my daughter! She loves our children so much!!! I can't wait to see her again....

Reason #1 to Travel to the C4C Reunion...The Beach is Relaxing!!!

Hope everyone got their Invitation to the reunion. Thanks Melissa for your hard work and creative genius!! Well, hopefully the cute little bottle, sand, and pina colada fragrance has gotten you in the mood for some Florida Fun!!

This is the first C4C/CEJ Reunion and we would really love to have a great turnout. Start looking at airfares - there are some great deals to Florida right now. I have found prices as low as $119.00 R/T from the west on Delta, Northwest and Continental. So start checking out airfares -we hope to see ALL of you there!!!!

Hello everyone!!! I am fortunate enough to have been assigned to put together a rockin' slide show presentation for the upcoming reunion!!! Go me! However, I cannot put together any kind of slide show without all of you! Go you!!! I am asking, begging, pleading, and bribing in some cases that EVERYONE send me anything that you have of the following items:

-Your kids "match" picture
-Pictures of when (or if) you first met your child
-Pictures of them now with their family
-Video clips of them home or meeting them for the first time (optional)

Children's Activities

Hello Dear Friends, Hope this post finds you well and surviving winter. It gives me pleasure to begin planning an event that will take place in a warm and sunny location. I am Michelle O, known to some as MO and the mother of Deve, Stacy Lila, Iris, and Ivy. Each day having our children home, I realize the importance of keeping the culture of my children alive in them and to respect and cherish there life before they came to us. Deve and Lila pray for there friends, for Haiti each night in hopes of seeing them again one day. Now I have a date to give them when we will all come together to celebrate our children, our families, the people who made it posible, the Haitian culture, and our biggest accomplishment surviving the adoption process! So come along, join us for fun and memories that will last a life time. April and I will be organizing the children's activities. We are planning a cultural experience for the children full of surprises and good times. Ideas we have thus far are a Haitian story teller, folkloric dance lessons, mask and box making(I need to research this, it is a haitian tradition for children during carnival), Creole language experience, ect.... it will all lead up to a carnival (karnaval) celebration. If anyone has information on these topics, connections in Ft. Laud., input, supplies, or questions please post here and we will begin the planning of the grand reunion and celebration of our beautiful children. Looking forward to hearing from all of you!!!!!
