Children's Activities

Hello Dear Friends, Hope this post finds you well and surviving winter. It gives me pleasure to begin planning an event that will take place in a warm and sunny location. I am Michelle O, known to some as MO and the mother of Deve, Stacy Lila, Iris, and Ivy. Each day having our children home, I realize the importance of keeping the culture of my children alive in them and to respect and cherish there life before they came to us. Deve and Lila pray for there friends, for Haiti each night in hopes of seeing them again one day. Now I have a date to give them when we will all come together to celebrate our children, our families, the people who made it posible, the Haitian culture, and our biggest accomplishment surviving the adoption process! So come along, join us for fun and memories that will last a life time. April and I will be organizing the children's activities. We are planning a cultural experience for the children full of surprises and good times. Ideas we have thus far are a Haitian story teller, folkloric dance lessons, mask and box making(I need to research this, it is a haitian tradition for children during carnival), Creole language experience, ect.... it will all lead up to a carnival (karnaval) celebration. If anyone has information on these topics, connections in Ft. Laud., input, supplies, or questions please post here and we will begin the planning of the grand reunion and celebration of our beautiful children. Looking forward to hearing from all of you!!!!! Blessings and Prayers, MO
